The Dorel Apartments complex includes two and three-story garden style apartments, two pools, a leasing office, activity center, detention pond, playground, retaining walls and asphalt paving. To bring the project into budget, we worked with the ownership team to value-engineer the design and developed details to improve the overall appearance and quality of construction. As the site was split into two parcels of land, the project required non-typical civil improvements as well as a unique on-site management approach. Both were accomplished successfully and the project was completed in July 2013.
