The Denizen Condominiums are a for-sale project consisting of 119 condominium units in central Austin. Construction started in June 2012 and sales for Phase 1 began in the second quarter of 2013. The site design required extensive retaining walls, tree preservation, site fill and concrete paving to create amenities including community gardens, dog parks, a pool, pavilion, artificial turf central lawn and outdoor community areas, as well as innovations such as extensive water quality rain gardens and a detention pond that also serves as an amphitheater. The condominiums and auxiliary structures utilized reinforced CMU, steel and stick frame construction.
The project anticipates achieved a 3-star rating from Austin Energy Green Building program.
